LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited (LAPO MfB), a premium microfinance institution in Nigeria joined the rest of the world and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to promote the essence of savings and increase the awareness of savings as a means of building sustainable wealth among children, youths and adults.

In commemoration of the World Savings Day 2022, the bank designed and deployed structured activities to promote the event, themed “Savings Prepares You for the Future” across multi-channel platforms.

Staff of LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited embarked on a Savings sensitization campaign to schools across the six Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

Briefing the Media, Oluremi Akande, Head, Corporate Communications & Branding said “LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited is delighted to associate with the World Savings Day event and firmly believes that with a concerted effort at sensitization by stakeholders, there is huge potentials for a better adoption of savings as a means of building sustainable wealth, increasing financial inclusion and economic prosperity”.
